NoteImplicit code of conduct

Critique ideas and code, not people. Feedback should be respectful and actionable.

Before autonomous work

  • Intellectual honesty about design limits; avoid overstating identification.
  • Respect and collaboration even in fast debate.
  • Progressive transparency — version reproducible decisions unless legally restricted.

Day-to-day communication

  1. Post short status if parallel tasks stall (>48h) and someone is waiting.
  2. Prefer reproducible artifacts (tables, figures on disk) over one-off screenshots.
  3. Be specific in requests (“validate date logic before merge?” not “can you look at everything?”).

Resolving scientific/technical disagreements

Situation Suggested flow
Variable transform dispute Open an issue + minimal comparison branch compare/<topic>.
Authorship / release priority Document roles and author order in the planning issue tied to the product.
Ethics or sensitive data uncertainty Pause public release; escalate via agreed institutional channels.

Inclusive language

Use neutral or explicit wording; many readers are international even when the project is Spanish-first.
