Welcome to the team

EB-Lab works with projects under ClimChange-NewbornHealth. The public lab site is estelablanco.cl.

Mission

We build reproducible evidence on how climate and environmental stressors relate to early neonatal outcomes, alongside local and international partners. We combine epidemiology, public spatial/climate data when appropriate, and transparent statistical modeling.

Minimum expectations

  1. Agree on shared data scope (time window, population filters, updates) before irreversible production code on large tables.
  2. Prefer clear async updates when distributed: summary + findings + concrete questions.
  3. Credit dependencies: if you reuse someone’s function in publishable work, cite them in code and outputs.

Relation to official guidelines

Folder structure, README, license, and external data requirements are maintained in Lineamientos_colaboradores. The manual summarizes but does not replace them.
